Painting is my passion and artistic expression of the world around me and my place in it.  I share my creative vision with you through the interpretation of light, form, and color. 

As orchestrated sound is music to those who hear, art is visual music to me.  With the successful cochlear implant in 1998, the dimension of sound has opened up a whole new world for me and has had a profound effect on my paintings.  Color seems to vibrate more, perhaps the sounds heard find hidden meaning within the colors I apply to my canvas.

I have worked with all media but I derive most satisfaction working in oils, whether it is still life, landscape, or portraiture.  I can be found painting in my studio, or outdoors with my field easel rain or shine.
