In the Heart of Amish Country!

Join us as we paint "plein air" the surrounding area through out this 3-day weekend cummulating in a wet paint competition, judging of awards and a quick draw painting competition on Sunday September 23 at 1:00 pm on the Square in downtown New Philadelphia. Rain site will be at the McDonald Marlite Center.

Artist Statement: I am drawn to one prevailing occupation, that of painting people who are ostracized, isolated and hopeless. Often I ponder a myraid of questions regarding humanity and subsequently those I paint. Where is his hope? What is his work? Does he have a dream? Does he feel joy? Does he feel pain? Even without knowing the "why" or the "what" of his story, I see and feel his emotions and it touches my soul.
